Meet The Dentists
Dr. Aman Lotey
General DentistDr. Aman Lotey
Dr. Lotey was born and raised in Edmonton and completed both his Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Alberta. Working in the city, Dr. Lotey gained invaluable experience in all aspects of General Dentistry. Focusing on comprehensive care, his passion is in taking his patients smiles’ to the next level through Invisalign, crowns, veneers and implants, among other things. He enjoys taking continuing education to keep his materials and methods up to date.
Yearly, Dr Lotey volunteers with Kindness In Action, a non-profit charity bringing dental care to countries that may not have access. After a few years going to Chisec, Guatemala, his next trip takes him to Sacred Valley, Peru. He is also a donor to the yearly Winter Charity Ball put on by the Dental Students Association benefiting both Kindness in Action and Dentistry for All.
In his spare time, Dr. Lotey enjoys spending time with family, taking on renovation projects and playing ball hockey. As an avid Oilers fan, he spends many evenings cheering on the orange and blue.

Dr. Hayley Intas
General DentistDr. Hayley Intas
Dr. Hayley Intas was born and raised in Edmonton, and has always had a passion for healthcare and dental sciences. She studied psychology and biological sciences and graduated with a Bachelor of Science with distinction at the University of Alberta. Dr. Hayley then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. She is always in the pursuit of broadening her dental knowledge with continued education to provide the most current and comprehensive care to her patients.
Patient-centered care is at the forefront of Dr. Hayley’s practice philosophy. She is passionate about creating a meaningful bond with patients, and making the dental experience as pleasant and as low-stress as possible. She strives to personalize treatment based on individual needs, educate patients, and establish a dentist-patient relationship based on trust and compassion. Research shows that oral health is deeply interconnected with general health, and thus Dr. Hayley always aims to provide treatment with her patients’ dental and overall health in mind.
While she is not in the clinic, she enjoys trying new recipes, hiking, travelling, and spoiling her pet cat and dog.
Dr. Arun Sharma

Dr. Sharma earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India, where he practiced general dentistry for four years. He later completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Colorado and went on to practice in both Denver, Colorado, and Wisconsin for over a year.
Dr. Sharma has a special emphasis on surgical procedures and is committed to delivering high-quality, precise care. Known for his knowledge and compassionate approach, he takes pride in making patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.

Dr. Steven Barkwell
Dr. Barkwell was born in Edmonton but spent most of his early years living on the west coast of British Columbia where he attended UBC for all of his post-secondary education, including Dentistry. He is now thrilled to be back in Edmonton surrounded by friends and family. He is an avid hockey player and fan, usually playing on multiple teams throughout the year while cheering on the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks.
When he gets time off he loves to travel and adventure. He sometimes combines this love of travel with his love of dentistry providing free dental care to special programs in third world countries. His most recent volunteer thrip was to Guatemala where Dr. Barkwell and his team provided fillings, extractions, hygiene, and dental supplies to small underserved villages.
A fun fact about Dr. Barkwell is that in August of 2019 he climbed to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest peak in all of Africa!
